DSPCA Charity Walk

DSPCA Charity Walk
Luckily the love for animals runs in my family. My 10 year old brother spent the last few weeks organising a charity fundraiser walk for the DSPCA Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. He organised a charity walk around the Dublin hills – Three Rock to be more specific. Altogether he will have raised almost €200 for the centre which is an amazing accomplishment for a ten year old boy.
The walk started at 2pm and a bunch of children from his class showed up along with some parents and dogs. From my family it was my mother, my sister, my daughter, obviously my brother and I. We were very lucky with the weather we got and it was a very nice day.
I am sure he will do something else again soon but I am just so proud of him for being so young but understanding that there is a need to help those that don’t have a voice and need our help. Very proud big sister.
