As much as I like seeing almost naked men gyrate their stuff in front of me, this wouldn’t make it to my list of favourite films…..but it does do what it says on the tin, a film for girls who just want to oogle and be jealous of every girl in the film. I doubt anyone goes to see this with the hope that it will move them, make them think about life and feel things they’ve never felt before (Emotional feelings ladies, you may feel other feelings – but that’s none of my business). There is moments of comedy and moments of ‘wow, can the human body really move like that’? Yes, to answer that question, Channing proves it can. It is weird in some parts and other parts left me thinking if this was the other way around and it was women doing all this to men….there would be uproar! But it is a fun movie, definitely one that if you must see, go see it with the girls.
* Margot Robbie turned down the role of Zoe due to scheduling conflicts with Focus (2015). Amber Heard was later cast.
* To learn how to be a stripper in this film, Channing Tatum has stated that he actually hired real strippers and had them perform for him. He states that he went to the point of having them try moves on him.
* Was sent to theaters under the code Glitter Man.
* Alex Pettyfer did not return to reprise his role as The Kid. Reports of production from the first movie said that he and Channing Tatum did not get along.
